The lectors are entrusted to proclaim the readings of the day and the Prayers of the Faithful at Mass. To proclaim the Good News is truly a joy and a gift shared by the entire parish family.
Lectors are fully trained before ever being asked to serve. No one is on their own before they are ready! Would you be interested in serving in the ministry of Lector?

The privilege of proclaiming God’s Holy Word comes with responsibilities: lectors should prepare by reviewing the readings in advance.
Prayer for Lectors:
Almighty God, be with me, your servant as I proclaim your word to the assembly.
May my proclamation of the scriptures help your word live anew among this gathering of the body of Christ.
Grant this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
