Ushers have a very special ministry whenever God’s people assemble to pray. They are often the first face people see as they enter the church. It is important that they welcome with a smile and a friendly greeting when people arrive for Mass. Ushers also assist with seating when the church is crowded and collect the offerings at Mass.
