As part of the LORD’s Corporal Works of Mercy (Matthew 25:35), our Welcome Committee seeks to welcome those who are visiting our area and those who are new to our parish and community.
Upon registering with the parish, new parishioners will receive a welcome letter from Rev. John Zimmerman, be contacted by a member of the Welcome Committee, and receive a welcome tote bag. Those who join our parish will know they have joined a faith community that welcomes their involvement. With their permission, Welcome Committee members share information regarding the newcomers’ areas of interest to other stewardship ministries to enable their engagement. We meet monthly for anyone who would like to join our group and ministry.
