As of this writing, we have many suggestions/ideas/plans, but the only thing that is certain is that there will be no public Masses for the immediate future. It is hoped that we will be able to schedule live-streaming Masses that can be viewed “real time” via the Internet. By participating together, real time, we will be able to celebrate as a faith community. We will post updates on this site, Facebook and the myParish App as they occur. Please visit here, at the OLPH web site visit, often for the latest Parish News.
Note, the Bulletin will be published each week and can be viewed via the link in the upper right corner of this web site header. This link will appear on every page of the site. You can also access the Bulletin via myParish App on your Smart Phone or Tablet/Pad device. If you need help finding the Bulletin link via myParish App, click here.
As you can see, it is our intention to rely more and more on the Internet. We face several challenges in order to connect with each parishioner via electronics:
- Compile a comprehensive list of each parishioner’s email address. If we do not have your current email address, please email us to ensure we have valid information.
- Identify parishioners who do not have access to the Internet nor a Smart Phone. If you know anyone in that category, please email us with their name and contact information.
- Provide assistance to those who do have Internet access and/or a Smart Phone but are not necessarily adept. Setting up myParish App can be tricky and depending on the live-streaming method, some may also need help in that arena. We need to identify those in need of assistance and assign a team to provide that assistance.
